Asus has launched the latest smartphone in its Max series called Asus Zenfone 4 Max in Russia which comes with dual rear camera setup and being a Max series smartphone, it is also having a huge 5000 mAh battery.
Zenfone Max series has always been focused on providing large capacity batteries but this time it looks like Asus is also trying to pull the camera enthusiast segment.
Coming to the specifications of the phone, it features 5.5-inch full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display with 10-point multi-touch input and it runs on Android 7.0 (Nougat) operating system out of the box along with Asus ZenUI.
Zenfone 4 Max comes in two processor options, either you can get the Snapdragon 425 Quad-Core processor or there is a Snapdragon 430 which is an Octa-Core processor. Similarly, in terms of RAM and storage, Asus is offering 2/3/4GB RAM variants and 16/32/64GB storage variants. Moreover, microSD card up to 256GB is also supported.
Unlike other Zenfone Max series smartphone, Zenfone 4 Max is the first handset in the series to come with dual camera setup. It uses 13-Megapixel main camera and a 120-degree wide angle camera with f/2.0 aperture. For selfies, there is an 8-Megapixel front camera which can take 85-degree selfies as well as wide 140-degree wide map selfies.
Asus Zenfone 4 Max supports dual nano SIM slots and it is having a dedicated microSD card slot as well. It is having 5000 mAh non-removable battery which is capable of providing 30 hours of talk time over 3G.
Asus has not announced complete pricing of Zenfone 4 Max variants and but the pricing will be starting from RUB 13900 in Russia ($234 / Rs. 15,176) for the Snapdragon 425 variant with 2GB RAM and 16GB Storage.
