Asus ZenFone Max was first showcased back in August 2015 at the ZenFestival held at New Delhi and now it looks like Asus is planning to roll-out this device in India as well as in few other key markets very soon.
Asus ZenFone Max is already listed on the company’s official India website and Asus has also posted a video on its Global YouTube channel featuring this device.
Asus ZenFone Max as the name indicates is going be a smartphone with a huge 5000 mAh battery which Asus claims can provide a stunning standby time of 38 days. This phone comes with a 5.5 inch FHD (1920 x 1080p) resolution IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood it is having a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, 1.2GHz Quad Core CPU along with 2GB of DDR3 RAM.
Its going come with a 13 Megapixel rear facing camera with laser autofocus, dual tone LED flash, PixelMaster technology, F/2.0 aperture and tons of effects, as you might have already seen on other ZenFones. On the front, it has a 5 Megapixel autofocus selfie camera.
In terms of storage, Asus Zenfone Max offers 16GB of internal memory and it also has a microSD slot that can hold cards upto 64GB. It comes with dual SIM slots, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port with OTG support, GPS, AGPS and GLONASS.
Asus ZenFone Max is expected to launch in India sometime near CES 2016 or by the end of January and Asus ZenFone Max is surely going to make its way to Asus CES Booth, 2016.
