Asus Zenfone Max Vs Meizu M3 Note; Comparison, Price, Specs

Both Asus and Meizu have recently launched their affordable android smartphones in India and surprisingly both the devices are available at exactly the same price of Rs. 9,999/-. Asus has launched its Zenfone Max, whereas Meizu has launched the M3 Note handset.

Display: Asus Zenfone Max comes with a 5.5 inch HD IPS display whereas the Meizu M3 Note is having a 5.5 inch full HD display with 2.5D curve display, although, both the displays looks bright and vibrant.

Performance: The Zenfone Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615, Octa-Core processor whereas on the Meizu M3 Note you get a MediaTek Helio P10, Octa-Core processor. As per our testing on GeekBench 3 the M3 Note scored 789 on single core and 2985 on multi-core, whereas, the Zenfone Max scored 682 and 2849, respectively. M3 Note comes with a 3GB of RAM, on the other hand Zenfone Max has 2GB of RAM. However, Zenfone Max also comes in a 3GB RAM variant which cost Rs. 12,999/-.

Software: Asus Zenfone Max runs on the latest Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) operating system along with ZenUI. On the other side, M3 Note runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop) operating system with Flyme OS.

Camera: In terms of camera department, both the devices are equiiped with a 13 Megapixel rear camera with dual tone LED flash. AZM comes with Laser-focusing whereas M3N has PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus). And, both devices has 5 Megapixel front selfie camera.

Storage: both the smartphones comes with 32GB of internal storage but on the Zenfone Max it is expandable up-to 64GB, whereas the M3 Note supports up-to 128GB of microSD card.

Fingerprint Scanner: Meizu M3 Note also features a fingerprint scanner, which is located on the single front button. Whereas, the Zenfone Max does not comes with a fingerprint scanner.

Connectivity: Both the devices come with dual SIM slots. Again, Zenfone Max here is the more flexible option, as it comes with dual SIM slots and seprate microSD slot, whereas, the Meizu M3 Note has hybrid SIM slots which means you are limited to use (SIM1 + SIM2 or MicroSD).

Battery: In terms of battery, once again Asus leads the way. The Zenfone Max comes with massive 5,000 mAh battery which is Asus claims can provide up-to 3 days of usage. However, Meizu M3 Note also comes with a decent size 4,100 mAh battery.
