Coolpad has launched a more affordable variant of its popular Note 3 which is named Coolpad Note 3 Lite and it will be going on sale on 28th January, 2pm exclusively at Amazon India for Rs. 6,999/-.
This phone features a 5 inch HD (1280 x 720) resolution IPS display and Coolpad has also added the split screen functionally for better multitasking. It runs on Android 5.2 (Lollipop) operating system along with CoolUI 6.0 and it is powered by a 1.3GHz Quad-Core, MediaTek MT6753 (64-bit) processor. It comes with 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and there is a microSD memory expansion slot as well.
It has 13 Megapixel rear and 5 Megapixel front cameras. It also has a fingerprint scanner which is quite impressive feature on this device at this price point. It is a dual SIM smartphone and other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, GPS/A-GPS, micro USB port with OTG support.
Coolpad Note 3 Lite packs a 2500 mAh battery which can provide upto 200 hours of standby time and approximately 8 hours of talk time.
Registration for Coolpad Note 3 Lite has already begun at Amazon India and the first sale is scheduled on 28th of January at a price point of Rs. 6,999/- which makes it one of the most affordable smartphone to come with a fingerprint scanner. Coolpad has also announced that they will be manufacturing 1 million smartphone in Videocon’s Aurangabad factory under the “Make In India” initiative.
