Coolpad Note 5 Pros And Cons: Impressions

Coolpad has recently launched its Coolpad Note 5 a sub 15k price segment smartphone in India which will be available exclusively on Amazon India from 20th October onwards at a price point of Rs. 10,999/-.

Coolpad Note 5 is an elegant looking phone, which looks quite almost similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 and it has metal body on the rear. However, top and bottom section on the back are made of plastic.

The phone comes with a 5.5 inch Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution display and it has a pixel density of 401ppi (pixels per inch). On the front it also has the 2.5D curved panel which makes it look more premium.

Coolpad Note 5 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 which is a decent processor but it cannot match the performance of Redmi Note 3’s Snapdragon 650. However, there is 4GB of RAM which will ensure lag free multitasking but while playing high-end games like Real Racing 3 and FIFA 16, etc. you might notice lag and frame drops.

It comes with 32GB of internal storage out of which you get around 22GB available memory for the user and it is also expandable via microSD card up-to 64GB.

The camera on Note 5 is a 13 Megapixel auto-focus shooter with f/2.2 aperture and up front, it comes with a 8 Megapixel selfie camera, plus it also has front selfie flash for low light situations.
