Honor 6X comes wrapped around with metal body and it features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080p) display along with the 2.5D curved glass. This handset is powered by a Kirin 655 Octa-Core processor and it comes in two memory variants. The 3GB RAM / 32GB Storage variant is priced at Rs. 12,999/-, whereas the 4GB RAM / 64GB Storage variant is priced at Rs. 15,999/-.
Currently, the phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system along with EMUI 5.0. However, the company has promised to roll out the Android 7.0 Nougat update in Q2.
The highlighting feature of the Honor 6X is the dual rear camera setup. It comes with a 13-megapixel, plus a 2-megapixel rear camera sensor which allows users to take bokeh shots and it allows to readjust focus later on after the image has been taken. On the front, it is having an 8-megapixel camera.
It is a dual SIM handset and other connectivity features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Honor 6X packs a 3340 mAh battery and the company claims it can provide up to 2.15 days of moderate usage.
Registrations for the 3GB RAM variant priced at Rs. 12,999/- has already started and it will be available through a flash sale on 2nd Feb exclusively on Amazon India.
