Intex Technologies has become world’s first licensing partner to use Sailfish OS 2.0 in their upcoming smartphones as an alternative to their Android phones.
Intex also announced that the smartphones running on Sailfish OS 2.0 will be launched later this year between October and December. However, Intex has not announced anything specifically about the devices itself but recently Intex has announced the name of a new smartphone which will be running on Sailfish OS 2.0 which is to be called Intex Aqua Fish.
On the movement of this collaboration with Jolla, Mr. Sanjay Kalirona, Head Mobile Business at Intex Technologies said
