While the last week of February was dominated by the MWC 2017 coverage and new smartphone launches in Barcelona, whereas on the other hand, a LeEco device has silently passed through China’s telecommunication regulatory authority TENAA named LeEco LEX658.
Just looking at the devices for a movement and the first thing that catches your attention is the presence of dual cameras on the rear-side of the phone, which almost looks like a face staring at you.
As per the TENAA listing, LEX658 sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080) FHD IPS display and it runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system. It is having a 2.3GHz Deca-Core processor, 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and there is no support for external storage.
This handset comes with a dual rear camera setup, whereas, for selfies, it is having an 8MP front camera. There is a 3900 mAh battery and it is going to come in golden, red, silver, white and grey colour options.
It’s listed on TENAA as well as on the rear-side it’s clearly mentioned “China Mobile 4G LTE” which means, of course, sooner or later it is going to rollout in China although it could also be exclusive to China as well. However, we don’t have any information regarding its pricing and availability. So stay tuned for more updates.
