Earlier this month, Lenovo has launched its Lenovo K8 Note smartphone in India starting at a price point of Rs. 12,999/-, and there is also another variant priced at Rs. 13,999/- which comes with slightly more storage and RAM.

Lenovo has chosen to go with MediaTek processor, although we would have loved to see a Snapdragon processor powering this smartphone. However, the current MediaTek Helio X23 Deca-Core (10-core) processor is fairly powerful and can get away with most of the highed-games without any problem. And there is 3GB of RAM but you can also get the 4GB RAM variant by paying Rs. 1,000/- more.
K8 Note runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system out of the box. And finally, it looks like companies are listening to the feedback from their users. So, now you are going to see stock android experience on Lenovo K8 and hopefully on each and every upcoming Lenovo smartphones as well. Being a Nougat devices you will also get the Google Assitant feature.
Like many other smartphone manufacturing companies, Lenovo has also jumped into the budget dual-camera smartphone segment with its K8 Note. This device comes with dual 13-megapixel and a 5-megapixel camera supported with LED flash for low-light situations. To be specific the camera performance is above average. However, when it comes to bokeh effect using both the cameras, it looks like Lenovo has a lot to learn. Otherwise, you will be satisfied with the camera.
On the front, it is having a 13-megapixel camera along with LED flash.
Recent – Samsung Galaxy On Max Pros And Cons.
This handset comes with 32GB of internal storage out of which around 18GB is available for the user. However, you can also buy the higher-end variant which comes with 64GB of storage, out of which you will get around 50GB of storage.
Lenovo K8 Note support dual nano SIM slots, plus it comes with separately dedicated microSD slot, which means you don’t have to compromise.
This time Lenovo has tried to check all the boxes. K8 Note is packing a 4000 mAh non-removable battery and it also does support Turbo charging which can charge this phone quickly.
This handset is also having a fingerprint scanner on the rear side, just below the camera module and like always, you also get Dolby Atmos powered sound right out of the speakers.

Lenovo K8 Note is another overall performer which is nicely packed with features by Lenovo and it offers a neat display, a satisfactory performance along with Android Nougat operating system and a decent camera. However, if you are looking for a dedicated dual-camera smartphone you might have to look for other options, otherwise, it will do the job. Separate microSD slot, Dolby Atmos and 4000 mAh battery with fast charging are few other strong points of this smartphone.
In terms of competition, K8 Note has very few competitors in the price range which comes with dual camera. However, one of the other options is Huawei Honor 6X which is available at 11,999/- and it was launched a few months back. If you could settle without a dual camera setup, then there are few other options you might want to take a look at including the Samsung Galaxy On Nxt at Rs. 14,999/- and Moto G5 at Rs. 11,999/-.
