Both the manufacturers, Lenovo and Xiaomi are having their huge phablet size smartphones out in the market targeting more media-consuming generation and both the devices are available at the same pricing.
Lenovo has recently launched its Phab 2 Plus, whereas, the Xiaomi has its existing Mi Max handset in the market. The major difference between these devices is regarding its processor and so other features as well. So let’s talk in detail.
Lenovo Phab 2 Plus Vs Xiaomi Mi Max
Both the devices features a similar size 6.4 inch full HD (1920 x 1080p) display and two of them are protected with Gorilla Glass as well. Lenovo’s Phab 2 Plus is having a 2.5D Curved Gorilla Glass protections, whereas, on the other Xiaomi Mi Max if having Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

The substantial difference between these two devices is going to be in terms of performance. Phab 2 Plus is loaded with a MediaTek MT8783, Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.4GHz. Whereas, the Mi Max is having a Hexa-Core Snapdragon 650 processor clocked at 1.8GHz, which seems to be much better in terms of performance and will be having an edge over the other in gaming as well. However, both the devices come with similar 3GB of RAM.

Phab 2 Plus and Mi Max are offering similar 32GB of onboard storage, which can also be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.
In the camera department, both the devices are very distinct. On one hand, Lenovo’s Phab 2 Plus is equipped with a dual 13 Megapixel rear camera which allows changing of focusing even after the photo has been taken. It has laser autofocusing, dual LED flash, but no 4K video recording and on the front side, it is having an 8 Megapixel sensor.
On the other hand, Mi Mix comes with a 16 Megapixel rear camera with phase detection autofocus and dual tone LED flash. Up front, there is a 5 Megapixel camera.
On the connectivity front, the two features almost the same features. Both smartphones are having a hybrid SIM slot, dual Band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The only key difference here is regarding the USB interface. Phab 2 Plus has a USB Type-C port, whereas, the Mi Max uses the micro USB port.

Being huge 6.4 inches smartphones, both of them are coming with some larger batteries. Leading the way, is the Xiaomi’s Mi Max which is packing a 4,850 mAh battery, whereas, the Phab 2 Plus comes with a 4,050 mAh battery and you get a similar 5v/2a charger with both the devices.

However, if you require a high-performance device for gaming with long battery life, Xiaomi Mi Max it the way to go.
