Today, LG has announced the availability of its LG V10 Dual Screen android handset for global market, starting this week it will make its debut in the United States, Hong Kong, China followed by Asia, Europe and Other commonwealth Independent states.
LG V10 is a highly anticipated mobile device having few unique features up its sleeve. It comes with 5.7 inch QHD (2560 x 1440) IPS Quantum display and it also has a dual screen placed just on the top of the primary display which can be utilized for various purposes.
V10 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor with 4GB of DDR4 RAM, 64GB inbuilt storage and it can also hold microSD cards upto 2TB, yes that’s correct.
This handset runs on Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) operating system out of the box and LG has said it will receive Marshmallow update by the end on 2015 or in early 2016. In the camera department it features a 16 Megapixel rear camera with optical image stabilizations, LED flash, F/1.8 aperture and interestingly it is having dual 5 Megapixel front cameras.
This smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner on the back side without changing LG’s design sense of placing volume buttons just below the camera and it can also play high quality audio, thanks to its in-built 32-bit DAC (Digital to Analog Converter).
LG V10 doesn’t compromise on connectivity features either; it has NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5 mm audio jack, micro USB port, etc. And LG has still gone with a user removable 3000 mAh battery.
So in coming weeks this android handset will be launched in most of the key markets from LG’s point of view and prices will be announced locally at the time of launch. So stay tuned for more.
