Meizu MX5 features a 5.5 inches Super AMOLED full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and 401 ppi. The centre button is a touch id sensor (fingerprint scanner) and also works a home button. The phone comes running on Android 5.0 (Lollipop) operating system along with Meizu’s Flyme 4.0 UI.
For a rock solid performance, Meizu MX5 is loaded with a Helio X10 Turbo Octa Core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, PowerVR G6200 GPU and has 3 GB of Ram.
Meizu MX5 is equipped with a powerful 20 Megapixel rear autofocus camera which uses Sony IMX220 imaging sensor with dual color LED flash, laser auto focusing, burst mode, panorama mode, f/2.2 aperture, 4K video recording and MX5 can also record slow motion 100fps videos at 720p. And this camera and all its features reside under a protective layer of Gorilla Glass 3 lens protections glass. Whereas on the front the phone has a 5 Megapixel selfie shooter which uses some beauty enhance mode for better photos.
Meizu MX5 has ample of connectivity features and it is a dual SIM phone with 4G LTE connectivity on both SIMs. It packs a 3100 mAh battery and it will be available in 4 different colors combinations.
Meizu MX5 will come in 3 different storage variants.
- 16 GB model will be available for CNY 1799 (approximately $290 USD / 18,458 India Rupees).
- 32 GB model will be available for CNY 1999 (approximately $322 USD / 20,498 India Rupees).
- 64 GB model will be available for CNY 2399 (approximately $387 USD / 24,606 India Rupees).
The company it already taking Pre-orders for Meizu MX5 and from 5th July onwards the phone will be available in stores in China.
The phone is also going to be launched in India in coming weeks and it is listed on Meizu India official website.
