Micromax has launched it’s another affordable smartphone in its Bharat series which comes powered by a MediaTek processor named Micromax Bharat 5 which is the successor to the Bharat 4 and is priced at Rs. 5,555/-.
Bharat 5 sports a 5.2-inch display with 2.5D curved glass and it is having 400 NITS of brightness. It runs on Android 7.1 (Nougat) operating system and it comes powered by a 1.3GHz, MediaTek MT6737 Quad-Core processor coupled with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can also be expanded up to 64GB using a microSD card.
Micromax Bharat 5 features a 5-Megapixel rear auto-focus camera with f/2.2 aperture and it is having a similar resolution 5-Megapixel camera at the front along with front LED flash.
This handset supports 22 Indian languages and comes with dual SIM slots. It packs a 5000 mAh battery and the company claims it can provide up to 20 days of standby time.
On the launch of Bharat 5 from Micromax, Vodafone has also announced its launch offers. New and existing Vodafone users will get additional 50GB of data for 5 months i.e. 10GB per month along with their current plan.
Bharat 5 will be going on sale from 5th December onwards only through offline mode in only black color option at a price point of Rs. 5,555/-.
