Today Motorola has launched its budget-friendly Moto G4 Play smartphone in India at a price of Rs. 8,999/- and it is one of the most affordable Motorola handset launched in India this year.
Motorola’s G series is already doing pretty well under 15k price segment but to tap the sub 10k segment, Motorola has rolled out its Moto G4 Play. It is having a 5” HD 720p display and its runs on Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow). This handset is powered by a Quad-Core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 CPU along with Adreno 306 GPU which is clocked at 450MHz. In terms of memory, you get 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage and it also supports microSD card up-to 128GB.
Similarly like other G-series smartphone, G4 Play is also coming with nano-coating which makes it water repellent and it can handle water splashes and rains. However, Motorola says it’s not water proof and it cannot be submerged into the water.
In the camera department, there is a 8 Megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 5 Megapixel front facing camera. Moto G4 Play offers standard connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB connectivity and it has dual SIM slots with 4G LTE (Cat 4) support. Surprisingly, it comes with a 10W rapid charger which is capable of charging it’s 2,800 mAh battery pretty quick and can provide 5 hours of usage by just charging it for 5 mins.
