Lenovo’s owned brand Motorola is all set to launch a new variant of its successful G4 handset in India on 6th September.
Motorola has already launched this smartphone in Latin America and Caribbean nations and now it is heading to India as well as to some other countries as well. Moto G4 Play is a downgraded version of Moto G4. It comes with a 5.0 inch HD (1280 x 720p) display and it is powered by a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410, Quad-Core coupled with 2GB of RAM.
In terms of storage it will be coming with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up-to 128GB via microSD card. It features a 8 Megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and it is capable of recording 108pp videos at 30fps. Whereas, on the front side it is having a 5 Megapixel camera.
We are quite sure, Moto G4 Play will be coming in dual SIM variant with 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.1 LE, 3.5mm audio jack and micro USB port. It is packing a 2800mAh battery and yes it will be coming with water repellent nano-coating, however, remember that it’s not waterproof.
Motorola is going to launch Moto G4 Play in India on September 6, exclusively at Amazon India. As of now Motorola has not revealed pricing details for Indian market but seeing its price in Canada and other markets, we can expect it to arrive in India somewhere around 10,000/-.
