Nikon has rolled out its feature packed entry level DSRL Nikon D5600 globally which comes with a more manageable body and also has wireless connectivity features.
Nikon D5600 uses a 24.2 Megapixel Nikon DX-Format CMOS sensor and its ISO ranges from 100 up to 25600. It comes with a couple of lens options e.g. 18-55mm kit lens, 18-140mm, 18-55mm and 70-300mm lens option or you can get the body only.
At max, it can record full HD 1920 x 1080 videos at 60fps and it allows you can click still images at (large) 24MP, (medium) at 13.5MP and (smaller) at 6MP.
Nikon D5600 also offers wireless connectivity via Wi-Fi 802.11 g, Bluetooth v4.1 and app like SnapBridge takes its full advantage. This app lets the user control their camera wirelessly via any smartphone. You can download the SnapBridge app from Google Play Store for android devices or from App Store from apple devices and it’s completely free of cost. The SnapBridge application not only allows you to capture images, videos or to change camera settings but it also allows users to transfer data to your smart device on the go.
Nikon has added the popular time-lapse video feature from the D7200 into this camera and there is Nikon Image Space cloud storage feature as well.
D5600 features a 170 degree rotatable 3.2 inch LCD screen and yes, it supports touch input.
In terms of connectivity, you get a micro-USB port, Type C HDMI connector, 3.5mm stereo mini-pin jack and ME-1 stereo microphone input.
Nikon has not announced any pricing details for this DSRL but, Nikon D5600 will be available in India and rest of markets for purchase by the end of this month or beginning early next month.
