Nikon has showcased its first action camera at CES 2016 which is capable of recording 360 degree videos and as of now the company is calling it Nikon KeyMission 360.
This 360-degree action camera has two lenses on either sides and it can record 4K UHD resolution videos. Being an action camera it comes with waterproof body, which you can take upto 100ft / 30meters deep into the water as well as it dust resistant and shock-resistant to some extent (approx 6.6 ft / 2 meter).
In-terms of connectivity it is having NFC, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and with this all new camera, Nikon has enter an all new segment of camera which has a huge growing market. Nikon will also be launching several camera mounts similarly like we have seen for GoPro camera and the company has also announced that there more action camera’s coming out soon.
Nikon has not announced any price details of this KeyMission 360 action camera but Nikon has said that it is going to be an affordable camera and we have confirmed details that it is going to be launched in springs 2016 not only in US but also in selected Asian markets as well as in most of the countries worldwide where Nikon operates.
