Performance and Storage

Nokia has chosen to go for the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor for its Nokia 6 handset. The processor can easily handle most of the day to day tasks and it is also capable of running light to medium level of games. But unfortunately, high-end games are going to give a tough time. Although, there is 3GB of RAM, 32GB of onboard memory which can also be expanded using a microSD card.

Nokia 6 runs on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system out of the box and Nokia has kept the interface to stock with minor changes.

In terms of camera capabilities, Nokia 6 is equipped with a 16-Megapixel rear camera with PDAF (phase detection auto-focus) and it is having LED flash as well for shooting in low light conditions. And, for selfies, it is having an 8-Megapixel front camera.

Nokia 6 is a dual SIM hybrid smartphone and other connectivity features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm headphone jack and surprisingly it is an NFC enabled device.

Nokia 6 is not only a good looking smartphone but it also comes with a strong built quality. It is having an FHD display and it runs on Android 7.1.1 OS but Nokia could have gone for a higher-end processor rather than Snapdragon 430 which might have slightly increased its price but it could have a targeting of a larger audience. Nevertheless, Nokia 6 with Snapdragon 430 processor can easily do day to day tasks along with some entry-to-mid level of gaming.

The rear 16MP camera can pull out some amazing shots whereas the front camera most of the time requires good lighting condition. It’s an NFC enabled handset and comes with a 3000mAh non-removable battery.

To sum up, Nokia 6 is for those who are looking for a stylish phone with sturdy metallic build quality, beautiful display, decent cameras and want to experience not the lastest but most recent ones i.e. Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system. Whereas for those whose sole purpose of buying a smartphone is gaming, you better find some other option.
