Samsung has recently launched the new Galaxy Note 5 at the unpacked event in New York along with the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge +.

The new Note 5 is has got some changes as well as it is also missing some of the features present on its predecessor Note 4. Note 5 comes with a 5.7 inch Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution Super AMOLED display which is similar to the Note 4 but this time pixels are packed more tightly as it is a 518 ppi screen.

Note 5 comes with a has a Octa Core processor with first set of cores at (2.1 GHz Quad) and other set clocked at (1.5 GHz Quad) paired with LPDDR4 4GB Ram and it will be avaiable in 32/64 GB internal storage variants. Sadly as compared to the last year’s Note microSD card slot is missing, which means you should be clear about which storage variant you are going for.

In terms of design, you might be expecting Note 5 to have high quality plastic, leather wraped but no, this time Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is built on a metal frame and has slightly curved rear edges make phone easy to hold but slippery as well.

One of the best improvements in Galaxy Note 5 is its S Pen which completely fits inside device and uses spring (click) mechanism to pull out and it can also be clicked which doesn’t have any additional functioning rather its good for passing out the time. Samsung has also added a new feature to the device which gets activated when you pull out the S Pen out of the phone, and you can take quick note without turning the display as well as now you can also add your favourite apps to the Air Command.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 packs a 3000 mAh battery which supports quick charging and Samsung also promises that, the phone can also quickly charge on wireless charging as well. However, this time Note 5 has smaller battery as compared to the last year’s Note 4 which was having 3220 mAh battery.

Overall Samsung has definitely improved the build quality as well as hardware and software experience of Galaxy Note 5 and is able to maintain the premium quality of Galaxy Note series.

Other than that we are already hearing rumours of Galaxy Note 5s which will support microSD card, and dual SIM slots. We are also getting some inputs from our sources that Samsung will also be launching another variant named Galaxy Note 5 Edge with dual edge display.
