Samsung Galaxy On Nxt Android Smartphone

Samsung Galaxy On Nxt is an all new device coming from Samsung in the On series with an all-metal unibody design at a price point of Rs. 18,499/- and it is exclusively available at Flipkart.

Previously, Samsung has launched the J7 Prime which is a lot similar to the Galaxy On Nxt not only in hardware but also in terms of design. The only major difference is of storage. On the Galaxy On Nxt, you get 32GB of storage whereas, the J7 Prime has only 16GB of storage. The other difference is the 2.5D curved glass panel which is missing from the J7 Prime.

Build:

In terms of build, Galaxy On Nxt looks very promising, unlike many other J series phones which feel cheap due to the use of plastic, this one feels very premium due to all metal unibody and it’s a sleek device as well.

Display:

This phone comes with a 5.5” Full HD (1920 x 1080) IPS display with 2.5D Curved Corning Gorilla Glass panel and it has amazing viewing angles and the color reproduction is also good. However, it would have been better if Samsung would have added AMOLED display.

Performance:

One area where Samsung Galaxy On Nxt isn’t the best is performance. However, it is coming with Exynos 7870, Octa-Core processor clocked at 1.6GHz along with Mali T830 MP1 GPU. The good thing is that it is having 3GB of RAM and can play pretty much any game with ease.

Storage:

On Nxt offers 32GB of internal storage which is further expandable via microSD card up to 256GB. Another advantage here is that it is having full dedicated microSD slot, unlike Hybrid slots as seen on many other devices.

Camera:

It is having a 13 Megapixel rear camera with a f/1.9 aperture which will help it taking bokeh like shots with easy and low-light performance is also going to be good. The focusing speed of the rear camera is quick but it can only record full HD (1920 x 1080) videos, no support for Quad-HD or 4K. Up-front, there is an 8 Megapixel camera with similar f/1.9 aperture.

Battery:

There is a 3,300 mAh battery and the phone comes with S power modes which could help last the battery over a day even in moderate to high usage.

Connectivity:

On Nxt is having dual SIM slots with 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB v2.0 and 3.5mm headphone jack.

Others:

It features a front facing fingerprint scanner which works quite well and its quick too.
It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
