Vivo has launched a new member in its Y series named Vivo Y55L in India at a price point of Rs. 11,980/- and it runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) operating system.
This phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor which is clocked at 1.4GHz and it comes with 2GB of RAM. Y55L handset features a 5.2 inch HD IPS display with multi-touch support. It offers 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up-to 128GB via microSD.

Vivo Y55L has a 8 Megapixel rear auto-focus camera with LED flash and a 5 Megapixel selfie camera with screen flash feature for light up your selfies in low light condition.
It has dual hybrid SIM slot with 4G VoLTE support but it limits you to use either dual SIM or 1 SIM and 1 micorSD card. Apart from that there is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB port with OTG support and 3.5mm audio jack. It is packing a 2,650 mAh non-removable battery.
On the software side it comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS along with Fun-touch OS 2.6 which provides many tweaks in the user interface and also provides split screen functionality.
