Xiaomi is said to be working on an upgraded variant of Redmi Note 2 which is expected to be launched with the name of Redmi Note 2 Pro by the end of this year.
Recently an article posted on GizmoChina clearly tells about the upcoming Redmi Note 2 Pro which this time is going to have a metal body design and a fingerprint scanner can also be easily seen in the image on the back side of the phone.
According to the source, the specifications are going to stay the same. This means you get a 5.5 inch full HD display, Helio X10 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, 13 Megapixel and 5 Megapixel rear and front cameras respectively.

It doesn’t seems to be a false rumour, as companies like Coolpad has already launched its Note 3 smartphone in India at an aggressive price of Rs. 8,999/- which also does have the fingerprint scanner and surely, Xiaomi don’t want to stay behind in this budget smartphone segment.
